With the market indices trading sideways in the dog days of late summer, it was of little surprise that the TMI Trader Portfolio drifted off 1% to £290,527. The biggest negative impact was the US$11 a barrel fall in the oil price from its all time high in reaction to rising oil stocks and the return of peace to Lebanon. With Iran’s lack of willingness to stop its nuclear program still hovering like a big black cloud, this could be just a pause in the long up-trend but it has knocked our mini oil & gas portfolio slightly.
