Revelations that we were only saved from a second national lockdown by the intervention of Chancellor Rishi Sunak threatening to resign were shrugged off by the main indices with the FTSE-100 and Small Cap down 1.4% and 1%, respectively. Although the Trader Portfolio had a quiet month, stand-out performances came from B&M (raised EBITDA guidance) and Plus500 (recruiting a high level of new customers). Both hit new highs. This time we have featured S4 Capital, a “buy & build” digital advertising company fronted by former WPP supremo Sir Martin Sorrell.
