This section should be viewed as raw material for investment ideas, rather than  recommendations.  Comparisons in sectors  are based on the period between  26/05/03 and 20/06/03 Onceagain the FTSE-100 has continued in its bullish vein, hitting higherhighs (4,207) and higher lows (3,980) for the third month running,before  eventually finishing up 180 points on the month at4,160.  This was an excellent performance considering that many commentators had written off its chances of staying above the psychologically important 4,000 mark.  However, the FTSEs 4.5% rise was eclipsed by the 8.5% gain posted by the Small Cap index (from 1,971 to 2,139) and 8.4% gain in the Techmark 100 (from 741 to 803) ...
