With the markets in risk off mode, Trader Portfolio 2 was at least brightened by a bid for Menzies.  The approach, comprising two cash bids of 460p and 510p, which came from Kuwait Stock Exchange traded Agility Public Warehousing, a supply chain services supremo (sales of US$5.4 billion in 2020), has been superceded by the bidder acquiring 13% in the market at 605p, so it looks over - bar the shouting. An excellent result for Trader Portfolio 2 with the shares twice their level last month. To raise a bit of cash, I have top-sliced just a quarter of my holding to lock in the 92% gain but with air travel finally opening up, a “beat” could be revealed at its upcoming results on 8 March.
