There are encouraging signs that investors are starting to look past Omicron. Two shares seem to have been unfairly hit during the market volatility - DX announced a delay to its annual report due to a “corporate governance enquiry relating to an internal investigation” but cluster buying by four directors (including CEO Lloyd Dunn, who holds nearly 11%) provides confidence. Reach said revenues beat forecasts thanks to powerful online momentum and while profits were “only” in-line, this reflected investment in 400 new journalists to feed advertisers more content. It’s surely only a matter of time before its better targeted ads lead to a lift-off in sales and margins, and I expect the PE to re-rate to the mid-teens given time.< ...
