A decent month for The TMI Trader Portfolio (+2%) and FTSE-100: (+1.6%) despite increasingly treacherous conditions with a significant number of profit warnings in mid and small caps. Only one mishap for us with Luceco’s latest warning blamed on its UK consumer side, but with a manageable debt it could whipsaw back up at some point. The wild conditions also saw Crest Nicholson fall through our stop-loss, triggering a still pleasing £7,200 profit. Elsewhere, NMC hit a new high after exemplary finals, 4 Imprint announced a special dividend and burst a US$1bn sales challenge while Swallowfield, Go Compare and Premier Oil, which all reported excellent results, have significantly higher target prices (390p, 145p and ...
