A tough month for the TMI Trader Portfolio,  which fell 2% against a 1.6% reduction in the FTSE-100. The old adage to sell shares in May and come back on St Leger’s Day (in September) is holding true again but the EU vote on 23rd June is arguably the bigger cloud. Investors hate uncertainty and if the UK votes to leave, the Government is saying it could take up to 10 years to renegotiate trade agreements; so a vote to remain is better if you hold shares.
