Markets are increasingly nervous about which banks, other than SVB and Credit Suisse, are nursing undisclosed losses in their bond portfolios or, as Warren  Buffett once said, “When the tide goes out we find out which swimmers are not wearing any trunks.” Against this backdrop, it is not surprising to see the portfolio off, broadly in line with the indices. H&T said its pledge book increased by half to a record £101m and Shore Capital forecasts eps to grow 114% to 79.5p between FY’23-’25, dropping the prospective PE to just 6.5 and then c. 5.5.
