It was a quiet period for the FTSE-100, which fell 1% from 4,130 to4,092, (after trading within a short range of  4,146 and3,935).   Once again its high was characterised by a markedincrease in volumes.  Meanwhile, The FTSE-All Share fell 0.5% to1,964, after trading in a range between 1,987 and 1,893.
