Last month was a tough one, with the FTSE-100 falling 2.4% and the small cap index dropping 5.6%, but our portfolio declined just 0.8%. Although Hamleys fell through the stop-loss, Albemarle & Bond brought some cheer by announcing encouraging interim results.   Of this month's recommendations we feel that Wembley's story is still not widely known and  its shares could spurt upwards if analysts introduce some aggressive earnings forecasts (as we expect) for 2004 and 2005.
