Primary Health Properties (PHP) is a company which invests in properties that are let out to agencies involved in primary healthcare,such as surgeries being leased to GPs.  Since its flotation back in 1996 PHP has built up a portfolio of over 50 properties, spread evenly across the country,  and established a highly impressive track record with its fully diluted NAV doubling to 201p, while its rent roll has soared from £1.1m to £6.9m.  However, we think this could be just the start of an exciting period of growth given the government's commitment to modernising the NHS.  Among the plethora of targets it has set itself are: finding an additional 15,000GPs and consultants by 2008 and modernising 3,000 GPs ...
