The TMI Trader Portfolio had one of its best ever months, rising £6,161 or 3.8% to its highest level of £169,837 which represents a near70% gain since its inception in April 2002. That compares with the FTSE100 which has actually fallen by more than 10% in this period.   Thebest individual performance this month has come from Burren Energy, with its interim results showing strong rises in production, cashflow and news that it had sharply increased its estimate at its M'Boundi field in Congo by 400m barrels to 1.3 billion barrels of oil in place.  Back in August, we had noted a possible "arbitrage" situation given that its partner at M'Boundi, Maurel and Prom, had already upgraded its estimates substantial ...
