Shares in StatPro, which develops and markets specialist middle office reporting software to the asset management industry, have rallied strongly following substantial director buying, led by Non-Executive, M Adorian, who has spent £176,000  increasing his holding by 950,000 shares to reach 3.1%. StatPro, whichfloated on the full list  in May 2000, (but has since moved downto AIM), provides performance measurement, risk control and client andinternal reporting systems to asset managers.  We met with thecompany shortly after the float, but didn't write on them at thetime.  But demand for its products is increasing because assetmanagers must comply with a new international reporting standard knownas GIPS ...
