Social housing contractor Connaught has made two acquisitions since our last update. Larger of the two is the £8.7m purchase of Leeds-based Baldwins, which comprises three related companies operating asset management contracts in the social housing sector. Baldwins’ services include response maintenance and compliance services on behalf of various councils in the North of England. The smaller acquisition was the £6.5m purchase of AE Williams, a Tooting, London-based firm which also provides asset management services to registered social landlords.
