Another cracking month for Trader Portfolio 2, which registered a gain of 3.3% to an all time record high. Four constituents hit new highs: ASA, Property Franchise, Babcock and Helios Towers.  A standout was ASA, which surged to a new high of 230p following a series of double-digit EPS upgrades, landing just days after its addition to TP2. Early followers of the idea, from my initial note last November at 73p and the main write-up in June at 104p, have already seen significant gains. Operationally, the bank’s performance is striking: the cost-to-income ratio fell 5.3% to 56.4%, while the net interest margin - the spread between borrowing costs and lending income - expanded from 32.3% to 40%, underscoring meaningful efficiency and ...
