After the pyrotechnics of share prices since the arrival of Covid-19, last month was a quiet affair with the TMI Trader Portfolio retracing 0.4%, outperforming the FTSE-100 (-4.2%) and All-Share (-3.8%) indices. The highlight was an unexpected update from B&M saying it now expects EBITDA to be in the range of £250m-£270m and taking the mid-point, that’s smashing consensus forecasts by a whopping 25%! IG Design (we will update next time) said Q1 ’21 is tracking ahead of management’s Covid-19 forecasts while its order pipeline is said to be strong.
