Parkdean - Gears up for more acquisitions

Following our April write-up on UK holiday parks operator, Parkdean we met with its managing director, John Waterworth,  fresh from unveiling Parkdean's first acquisition since its flotation last May.  Parkdean's plan is to "buy and build"  a portfolio of holiday parks and the acquisition of Sea Acres and White Acres, for £13.1m last month, was a good start, particularly as they were bought at the end of the low season, which will give the 2003 results a big boost.
