A very exciting month for the TMI Trader Portfolio, which climbed another £13,293 (4.9%) to a new high of £284,475 while the overall gain has increased to 185%. Our policy of allowing our winners to run and run has been the mainstay and Burren Energy has become the portfolio’s third constituent to have passed the 400% gain mark after it announced  the acquisition of interests in Oman and Yemen. Elsewhere, shares in Peter Hambro Mining broke out sharply following a jump in the price of gold to US$559 per ounce and Numis has calculated that if the forward gold price curve were to be  applied to Hambro, its price target would increase from 1045p to 1562p.
