Concerns of a deep recession have hurt the TMI Trader Portfolio 2, which fell 9.4% over the month. The irony is that we enter this crisis with the lowest unemployment rate in living memory (3.8%) and my gut feel is that things are now just too oversold and any signs of a settlement between Russia and Ukraine will cause the mother of all rallies. In terms of the performance of industrial constituents, Essentra moved closer to a pure-play high margin components business, following  its disposal of its packaging division. Babcock is also looking better placed by the day.
