A month of consolidation for the TMI Trader Portfolio, which gained £2,683 (0.9%) to £293,247 but this disguised a considerable polarisation of fortunes with six constituents hitting new highs, while two stocks tumbled through our stop-loss. Amongst the winners it was good to see oil firms Dana Petroleum and Venture Production hitting new highs of 1349p and 838p respectively, as a major new field in which they hold a joint 50:50 interest commenced production. Aquarius Platinum also hit a new high of 957p, almost double January’s main recommendation price, ahead of unveiling a 300% jump in net profit on the back of soaring production and platinum prices and we will review its results next time.
