Medisys - Chief executive buys 2m shares

Medisys, which makes diabetes monitoring tests and safety syringes, has sorely tested the patience of investors with a string of delays to the launch of its key 3ml Futura, a retractable safety syringe.  But that hasn't dented the confidence of chief executive, David Wong, who purchased 2m shares  at 7.5p (worth £150,000),  on 11 December, taking his holding to 5.7%.   Soon after,  on 7 January, co-director, David Robbins bought 1m at 7.6p (worth £76,000).  Atfirst glance, there's little to get excited about in the short–term,with the launch of  Futura, which would take Medisys into the bigleague,  put back to the middle of this year.  But, Futura is a low cost automat ...
