With the United States having avoided falling down its fiscal cliff the markets have suddenly regained their animal spirits with the FTSE All Share increasing 3.7%. Our Trader portfolio mirrored these gains with a 3.4% advance and extendied the gain since inception to 325%.Our secret ingredient is to buy and retain fast growing companies that keep performing, which has delivered big winners such as Synergy (+379%), NCC (up 344%) and Kentz (+193%). Hot on their heels are Telecom Plus and Nichols, both of which posted strong updates in the month.
