A gentle rise in the shares was accompanied by strong interims with revenues rising 15% to £224m, making for a 28% rise in underlying pretax profit to £20.8m. Eps went up 31% to 19.7p while net debt fell from almost £104m last December to £89.1m. Management's strategy to expand overseas is working with 73% profits now international, including 47% from the USA alone. In infrastructure products, revenues jumped 30% to £161m, while operating profit soared 41% to £10.6m.
