Hill & Smith has announced the disposal of its minority investment in Neholl BV, a Netherlands-based galvanising business, for a cash consideration of EUR 5.8m, which will result in a profit on disposal of c. EUR 1.1m. Meanwhile in a pre-close update covering the six months to 30 June, it announced that trading has been in line with the Board's expectations with net debt reduced by more than £30m since December through strong cash generation and tight management of working capital. As a result, net debt is expected to fall from £146m to below £115m.
