In an upbeat half year trading update Telecom Plus anticipates that earnings and pretax profits will be significantly ahead of the previous year. H1 saw good organic growth with customer numbers increasing at an annualised rate of around 6% to over 356k (31 March: 345,762), while the number of services increased at an annualised rate of over 10% to more than 1,103k (31 March: 1,044k). The average number of services taken by each customer has also risen reflecting the group's focus on garnering customers who take a combination of energy and telecoms and who are homeowners.
