Utilities reseller Telecom Plus has noted exceptionally good trading during the first quarter to 30 June, reflecting  a continuation of positive trends, which started following its sales conference last October. Turnover, profits and new distributor recruitment have all been running ahead of the comparable figures for last year while customer numbers increased 7,160 to 225,017 and the number of services provided is up over 26,000 to 618,320. In reaction, KBC Peel Hunt has upgraded this year's forecasts again with revenues up 6% to £235m, while pretax profit and eps both rise 5% to £20.2m and 21.8p respectively.
