Telecom Plus, an independent, low cost provider of utilities to private households, has been ideally placed to exploit the cost of living crisis and pretax profit duly increased 55% to £96.2m with eps up 57% to 99.2p. Customer numbers grew by 22% (158,000 to 887,0000) while services increased 24% (+533,000 to 2.8m). Telecom Plus still only has a 3% market share of the household energy supply market and introduced an ambitious target to add another 1 million customers over the next 4-5 years.
