In a positive trading update covering the six months to 30 September, utilities re-seller Telecom Plus noted that customer numbers increased at an annualised rate of 25% to 316,000, while service numbers rose by around 110,000 to over 904,000. Substantial numbers of new distributors continue to join the business each month and the total number increased almost 5,000 to just under 32,000. Meanwhile, the group is also looking at improving the quality of its customer base and has instructed distributors to focus on gathering new customers who own their own homes.
