Topps Tiles, the UKs largest specialist tile retailer,  has developed a happy knack of surpassing the hopes of even its most  optimistic supporters.  The latest final results confirmed the eye-opening statistic that it has grown profit and earnings by more than 20%  in five out of its six years since flotation.  It looks set to continue with broker, Arbuthnot, upgrading forecasts, withpretax profit of £22.4m expected for the year ended September 2004, rising to £26.8m, for earnings of 34.4p and 41.1p.
