Taking into account the improving housing market and a pleasing bounce in consumer confidence it's hardly surprising to find shares in the Restaurant Group hitting new highs in recent months. The company, whose eateries include Frankie & Benny's, Chiquito's and Coast to Coast, owes its success to chief executive Andrew Page, who re-engineered its expansion away from cluttered high streets and towards out-of-town retail centres (close to  cinemas and bowling alleys) where consumers can do everything in one place and parking is easy.
