A positive update with trading for the 43 weeks to 28 October showing like-for-like sales up 3.5% and total sales rising 8.25%. Broker, Canaccord calculates that this implies an acceleration in Q3 to +3.9% vusus +3.25% in H1. Restaurant Group has opened 16 new sites this year, which are delivering strong returns. A third Coast to Coast, its newest brand, opened in Stevenage mid October and all three are going well, with five expected to be open by the year-end. Across the group it expects to open between 26-29 in 2012, with a good pipeline further out.
