The shares surged to a new high of 794p after 4Imprint unveiled a fantastic trading update that said trading has been running ahead of expectations for the period from 29 June to 23 October.The promotional products firm increased revenues 16% in Q3 to £66.1m with sales for the nine months rising 15% to £181.8m. These would have been even better but for the stronger pound with the average US$ exchange rate being 1.67 (2013: 1.55) and in local currency terms its dominant business, North American direct marketing, surged 25% to US$106.1m in Q3 and 24% to US$291.2m for the nine months.Growth is being driven by the increase in marketing spend on last year, particularly online.
