4Imprint, which supplies and distributes promotional products such as stationery and mugs, might not sound particularly glamourous but the shares have been a terrific investment for us; after being added to the TMI Trader Portfolio at 237p in March 2012 they have just hit a new high of 2940p. 4Imprint is a wonderful business because little capital is required to make it grow and with interim results having beaten expectations, with eps up 22% to 55.6 cents (against forecasts of 52.6 cents), brokers now expect pretax profit and eps to rise to US$54.4m and 153 cents, respectively, in FY’19.Having originally owned diverse print and packaging operations including Letts, the famous diaries and calendars business, 4Impr ...
