Shares in promotional products group 4Imprint have surged to a new high after it said trading is running ahead of expectations. For the six months to 30 June revenues, pretax profit and eps have surged 20%, 25% and 17% respectively to US$231m, US$12.2m and 31.3 cents. Net cash increased from US$18m to US$28m.Its main business in the US (96% revenue) saw sales soar 20% to US$223m, reflecting 21% growth from existing clients and 19% growth from new clients. Operating margins rose 0.3% to 5.3%.In order to service higher volumes the group is progressing two infrastructure development projects including another office and expansion of its Oshkosh distribution centre, which should be completed in September.
