The shares enjoyed a terrific run to a high of 1043p after Essentra unveiled results slightly ahead of forecast while its “Vision 2015” growth plan has hit its targets a year ahead of schedule. For the year ended December revenues, pretax profit and eps grew 14%, 19% and 19% (at constant exchange rates) to £866m, £133.4m and 41.9p respectively.Essentra, which makes millions of small but essential components made from plastic, fibre and foam, has four divisions.
