Against an unfavourable foreign exchange backdrop Photo-Me has reported a 12% rise in pretax profit in its third quarter. Using constant currencies profits grew an encouraging 19% on a 3% increase in turnover.The roll-out of the laundry product continues apace with 898 units deployed since launch at the end of January, while it should reach 2,000 by the end of 2015. Results on the older French ones are strong, with a year-on-year turnover increase of 21% in Q3.Photo-Me continues to develop its photobooth portfolio and is trialling 25 new Starck booths, which incorporate the 3D figurine photobooth with plans to launch in H2.
