Topps Tiles - Two year LFL sales up c.14%

Having zoomed up 50p to a high of 165p since May the shares have pulled back, but the future is still bright with mortgage lending, house sales, consumer confidence and employment all flashing green for go. Topps’ pre-close update for the year ending 3 October noted that revenues are expected to be £212m (2014: £195.2m over 52 weeks) with like-for-like revenues increasing c.5.3% on the prior year, which itself rose 8.1%, reflecting growth in market share. On a two-year basis like-for-like sales have grown c. 14%.The group has further developed initiatives including Inspiration, an online “visualizer” to its stores and the launch of 17 new ranges.
