As the chart shows, Topps Tiles, the UK's largest ceramic tile retailer, has been an extraordinarily successful share and one that TMIhas buy rated on five occasions, every one of which has proved to be a money maker. In barely more than two decades, Topps has come from nowhere to take a stranglehold on the ceramic tile retail sector and indoing so has established a financial record that few can match. Since 1997, Topps has increased its pretax profit and earnings fourteen-fold to nearly £34m and 11p respectively and yet there are still major opportunities ahead.
