Topps Tiles - Good opportunity to take huge gains

With shares in Topps Tiles making further gains since last month's write-up we would be inclined to realise profits, particularly because the market for mid sized and smaller companies has become noticeably shakier in recent weeks.  One broker, UBS, has already downgraded its recommendation on Topps because of valuation concerns, but investors could cite several other reasons for concern.   These include a) Director selling:- a director sold 625,000 shares at 136p on17 June; b) Like-for-like sales growth running at nearly 23%.  This will make future comparisons really tough; and c) a potential softening in consumer spending, following several interest rate hikes.   Gain since ...
