Interims were slightly ahead of forecast with pretax profit rising almost 14% to £9.1m on sales that rose 6% to £104m, while net debt fell £5.3m to £31m. 10 new stores opened taking store numbers to 340 while trade sales also grew strongly, increasing from 44% to 48% of the total.
