Playtech - Strong hint of special dividend

Shares in online gaming software group, Playtech leapt to a new high of 670p after its AGM noted that its strong start to the year has continued in the six weeks since the end of March. Meanwhile, in a hint of a possible special dividend the Board “continues to assess the most appropriate way of deploying the proceeds of the William Hill Online stake (worth c. Eu490m) including a consideration of a capital return to shareholders.†Broker Peel Hunt expects a return of up to EU200m (59p a share). Originally tipped at 540p in March we still think that with the US expected to fully legalise online gambling the shares could go a long way; keep buying.  ...
