Playtech’s interim results were well flagged last month, reported adjusted EBITDA of €162.3m (15% below H1 ’19) and slightly ahead of €160m guidance. This compares to €117m in Q1 ’20 and €23m in April when Covid first hit. EBITDA in July approached normalised levels, which Jefferies believes is €30m a month.Within core B2B, revenues declined 6% of which the UK fell 30%, while unregulated markets in Asia grew 33%. Online revenues (excluding sports) increased an impressive 26% (+28% constant currency) with strong momentum in Live Casino.
