Having rejected an offer from its US partner, MGM Resorts, at 1285p back in January, gaming giant Entain, 2097p, which owns brands such as Coral, Ladbrokes, Sportinget and Party Poker has received another approach at 2800p a share. This time the offerer is Draft Kings, best known for its fantasy sports contests and it was pitched just eight months later. This gambling fever reflects an intense jockeying for position to avail of the massive US online gaming opportunity with 26 States (covering 144 million or 45% of the population) having green-lit sports betting while six allow igaming (casino, poker, bingo etc) and those numbers are forecast to rise sharply in the years ahead.One intriguing way to play this opportunity is via FTSE- ...
