As with other stocks in the travel space, Easyjet has been hammered on Brexit turmoil and one rumour is that the Government has told travellers not to make holiday plans after 29th March.Regardless, Easyjet has produced a 42% increase in pretax profit to £578m on sales that rose almost 17% to £5,898m. With net cash increasing almost £40m to £395m, the dividend was hiked 43% to 58.6p. Therefore the yield is now 5%.Pretax profit would have grown to £690m but for losses related to the integration of Air Berlin’s Tegel operations.
