Wallpaper and fabric group Sanderson has  emerged from the pandemic as something of a “bolter” with profits recovering like a weed and triggering no fewer than four trading upgrades since last August. Following the latest “beat,” Investec has nearly doubled its eps forecasts for the year ended January ’21 from 3.9p to 7.4p. The immediate thinking might be that rather like my recent write-up on Topps Tiles (TPT; 72p) Sanderson is benefitting from the same general boom in home improvements over the past year with more people staying at home and with more time on their hands and increased savings from not commuting, eating or going out and other day-to-day expenses.
