Although the shares have drifted lower on concerns that hot and dry weather would dissuade bowling fans from attending, BOWL published a record set of interims and is on course to achieve full year forecasts. In H1, BOWL grew revenues 8.4% to £129.2m thanks to organic growth (+2.1% like-for-like) and new centres. When adjusting for the £3m of one-offs in the prior year, EBITDA grew 8.8%. Net cash was £22.7m. Three new centres opened in the UK in Swindon, Preston and Inverness and are all trading well (ROI: 19%) with 75 outlets open at the period end.
