By chance, the two largest ten-pin bowling operators in the UK are both quoted; Ten Entertainment (TEG; 276p), which I first wrote up in June  ‘19 at 228p, has spiked  to new highs after a run of blockbuster trading updates while Hollywood Bowl, whose CEO and CFO I again met with over the month and the subject of this article, has also performed well. Early in 2022, as we emerged from the Pandemic, Investec was forecasting pretax profit of £34.2m and £37.6m and eps of 15.4p and 16.3p for FY’23 and ‘24, respectively but Hollywood Bowl has forced the broker to upgrade three times in little more than a year, most recently thanks to strong half year results on 30 May.
