The ten-pin bowling group has announced record interims (prompting a broker upgrade), which had been well flagged, showing revenues up 36% to £100.2m and EBITDA rising 47% to £31m. It also announced its first overseas move via the Canadian-based acquisition of Teaquinn, which operates five bowling centres, for £10.6m. The five units, two of which in Toronto and Vancouver Island are freehold, are said to have over 30 bowling lanes each, with 35-40,000 sq. ft. space, so much larger than its existing units. An exciting new market to go for then and its plans are to build a further 10 outlets. Investec has included Teaquinn in its new numbers and has upgraded eps by 6% and 7%, respectively, for FY’23 and FY’24 to 17.2p and 17.9p. ...
