I first met the management of promotional marketing products group 4Imprint during the latter stages of the Global Financial Crisis and after adding them to Trader Portfolio 1 at 237p in 2012, the shares remarkably soared to a high of 3511p late in 2019. In the early stages of the pandemic, I sold out at just under £19 (prematurely with the benefit of hindsight) but they are back on my radar following an unscheduled update, which noted current year sales and profit expectations will be comfortably beaten following a strong first four months.
