Hollywood’s interims showed sales rising 9.5% to £141.5m and while macroeconomic pressure continued to weigh on pure game volumes, the group still delivered a solid 1.9% like-for-like increase. A 7.6% rise in UK spend per game from price increases on bowling games or arcade machines and better upselling of food, drinks, or extra games provided the key pricing leverage  That flowed neatly to the bottom line.  EBITDA rose £3.4m to £42.2m, with margins holding steady at a respectable 29.8%. Pretax profit advanced £2.4m to £32.1m for EPS up 11% to 14.5p.
